Become a customer
Follow the steps below to become a customer.
In order to open an account, you need to fill in an electronic form. You must upload the following documents before sending the form:
- Copy of your passport (or your refugee travel document). The copy must show your picture, passport number, who it was issued by, as well as the date of issue
- Copy of registration certificate for EU/EEA nationals
- Copy of residence permit for citizens outside the EU/EEAEmployment contract/student identity card or other proof of income.
- Tax withholding card for employees.
- Decision on introductory program or settlement decision for refugees.
We will now register the information you have provided in the electronic form. Within some weeks, you will receive the agreement documents by post, along with an invitation to come to our nearest office. Remember to bring your passport or refugee travel document and the agreement documents. We ask you to read and sign the agreement documents.
Once you have been to our office, the account will be opened within the following week. You will receive your Visa Electron card by post.
