The Board of Directors has the overall responsibility for the managament of SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge ASA. It shall, among other things, ensure that all activities are subject to adequate controls and that capitalization is sufficient when scope and risks of the business is taken into account.

Helge Leiro Baastad
Chairman of the Board, Chair of the Remuneration committee, and member of the Audit committee and the Risk committee.
Baastad (born 1960) previously served as Group Haugan holds a degree in economics from BI Norwegian Business School.Chief Executive Officer of Gjensidige from 2003 to 2022, during which time he led the company through significant strategic and structural changes.
He currently runs his own business as a partner in KOV5 KS.
Baastad holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Trine Sæther Romuld
Board member and Chair of the Audit committee.
Romuld (1968) has extensive experience from a range of leadership roles in seafood, oil services consultancy and the audit industry with both Norwegian and international firms. She has been CEO of Gaia Salmon Holding since June 2025, coming from the position of CFO at SalMar Aker Ocean. Additionally, Romuld has significant experience as a board member and chair of audit committees for listed companies. Romuld was a board member at SpareBank 1 SR-Bank ASA until the merger on 30.09.2024.
Romuld is a state authorized auditor (NHH).

Maria Tho
Board Member and member of the Remuneration committee.
Tho (1981) is CFO at InflowControl AS and has over 15 years of experience in senior financial and strategy roles in multinational and national companies. Among other positions, she has held various roles at Larvikbanken, including Assistant Bank Manager and CFO, as well as being Finance Director at Net Trans Services AS. She has also worked as a state authorized auditor at EY. Tho was a board member at SpareBank 1 Sørøst-Norge until the merger on 30.09.2024.
Tho holds a master’s degree in accounting and auditing from BI Norwegian Business School (2008) and a bachelor’s degree in auditing from Oslo University College (2003).

Camilla AC Tepfers
Board Member and member of the Audit committee.
Tepfers (1969) is founder and partner of the consulting company inFuture. She has 25 years of experience as an advisor, innovation director, non-fiction author and lecturer, and has extensive experience with, among other things, future studies, strategy and innovation projects. She built up and led the innovation initiative in DNB. Tepfers was a board member at SpareBank 1 SR-Bank ASA until the merger on 30.09.2024.
Tepfers holds a degree in Engineering (Computer Science and Information Science) from NTNU.

Heine Wang
Board Member and Chair of the Risk committee.
Wang (1963) was one of the founders of Vakt Service AS, which later became Nokas. He was Group CEO of Nokas until 2019. Wang has substantial experience as a board member, including serving as a board member and Vice Chairman at SpareBank 1 Nøtterøy-Tønsberg from 2015 until the merger with SpareBank 1 BV, where he also became Vice Chairman. He has also been President of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO). Wang was a board member at SpareBank 1 Sørøst-Norge until the merger on 30.09.2024.
Wang holds a law degree from the University of Oslo.

Skjæveland (1979) is the managing director of Sparebankstiftelsen SR-Bank. He has 20 years of experience from various management positions in SpareBank 1 SR-Bank. He has experience from both internal and external board positions from his time in SpareBank 1 SR-Bank. Skjæveland was a board member at SpareBank 1 SR-Bank ASA until the merger on 30.09.2024.
Skjæveland holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration and is a certified financial analyst (AFA) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
