The BankID App

When logging in with BankID, you wil need to use the BankID app.

Download the app and follow the steps:

If you have an active Code Chip, you can still use it.

How to use the BankID App

  • You don’t need to open the app yourself when logging in — it will open automatically after you select BankID.
  • To make sure the app starts correctly, you should enable notifications. To turn on notifications, do the following: Go to Settings on your phone. On iPhone, go to Notifications  – BankID  – Allow notifications. On Android, go to App notifications – BankID  – Allow notifications.

Watch out for scams and be careful with links

You will never receive SMS or email from us or BankID asking you to log in via links.

Always download apps directly from the App Store or Google Play. Also make sure you never share your BankID password or any other sensitive information, no matter who contacts you.
