Get Started With BankID

1. Show Valid Identification

You are required to show up at the bank and identify yourself with your Norwegian passport, personal identification number/D-number (passport from non-Nordic countries requires additional documentation) to get BankID.

Choose one of our local bank offices and we will help you with the rest!

2. Download the BankID App

Download the BankID App to your phone, so you don’t have to remember passwords or worry about where you left your code device!

3. You Are Ready to Use BankID!

Now you can log in to the bank and other websites, sign documents and agreements, and shop safely online.

We have a solution for you! Bring a valid identification and your D-number to us, and you will get access to Mobile and Online Banking.

 

BankID For Youth 

Parents can order BankID for youth who have turned 12.

When a parent with parental responsibility has signed the agreement, we will send an SMS with a notification that the BankID is ready.

Then the youth can come to the bank with a Norwegian passport or Norwegian national ID card and get BankID.

When the youth turns 15, they can go to the bank themselves and get BankID. Remember to bring a valid passport.
