Do you have BankID?
Become a customer without BankID
Are you over the age of 18 and do not have BankID? In order to become a customer, you need to follow the steps below. We will contact you when the documents are ready to be signed.
The service has a fee of NOK 500. This will be charged when your customer relationship has been established.
How to become a customer with a foreign passport
Please visit one of the following bank offices. Book an appointment with your local office here.
Also bring one or more of the listed documents. They will be notarized and archived for identification purposes.
- Current passport, or documents of equal standing such as a Norwegian travel document or Immigrants passport.
- Residential permit or registration certificate.
- Other official form of identification such as Driver’s license or Norwegian Postal services ID-card.
In order to open an account, you need to fill in an electronic form.
We will now register the information that you have filled out in the electronic form. Within 2 weeks you will receive a text message stating that the contract documents are ready for collection at the bank. Remember to include a valid ID.
The account will be opened within one week after you have signed the agreements at the bank. You will receive your debet card by post.
